The Medusa Polishing Compound, handmade by Lea Wagner (Medusa Leather Art), is a super-fine abrasive paste designed for the final polishing stage of knives, tools, and blades. Whether you’re a professional craftsman, chef, or simply passionate about maintaining your edges perfectly sharp, this compound provides a refined mirror finish on both soft and hardened steels.

Each jar contains approximately 25 g of compound — enough for multiple applications. It’s ideal for use on a leather strop or a felt wheel, giving your blades a brilliant, professional-grade polish.

For best application results:
To improve adhesion and ensure a smooth, even layer of compound on your leather strop, Lea Wagner recommends slightly warming the compound with a hairdryer or low-heat gun. This softens the beeswax contained in the compound’s composition, making it easier to spread evenly on the leather.
Additionally, applying Medusa Beeswax to the strop beforehand helps the compound bond more effectively with the leather surface, resulting in better performance and longer-lasting polishing action.
