The foundation of art and craftsmanship lies in the joy of sharing.
I believe that knowledge should never be kept to oneself; it must be shared so that we can all grow and improve together.

I’m also a teacher who never stops learning. As a passionate artisan, I enjoy sharing my “recipes” and techniques so others can experience the joy of leather-working and continue to pass on the knowledge.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching and contributing to various workshops, as well as publishing articles in both national and international journals. Some of the events and publications I’ve been part of include:

Leather Artisan Lab was founded in 2021 to provide top-quality tools for today’s and tomorrow’s leather artisans.

Since 2019, we have been part of the European Leather Workers and Artist Trade Show (ELWATS) as instructors, and from 2022 as vendors, including 2025.

I have also participated in the national leather gathering Jornadas de los Oficios del Cuero in Allariz, Ourense, Spain (2023–2025).

Internationally, I have taught at the Southwest Leather Trade Show in Prescott, Arizona (2024).

I have also taught at the Rocky Mountain Leather Trade Show in Sheridan, USA (2023–2025), also participating as vendors in 2024 and 2025.

Leather Artisan Lab as a company, and Isaac Romero as an artisan, seek to provide the tools and knowledge to grow the leather family.
