Description
This round punch is the result of the know-how of a French craftsman who has completely redesigned an antique tool.
Combining aesthetics, ergonomics, precious materials and high technology, this is a very high quality round punch. The ferrule is made of titanium, its tip is fully polished and does not mark leather, even if the blade is pushed.
The handle is ergonomic and will provide you with excellent comfort of use, it has a flattened part that prevents the punch from rolling on your work surface (and falling on the floor).
A round awl is not made for making a hole, but for enlarging a hole or inserting thread into a seam. The shape of the blade has been perfectly studied, it is conical in its first half and then cylindrical (2 mm diameter).
The wood used for the handle comes from FSC-certified sustainable forests.

In case of problem, the blade can be replaced (sold as a spare part) and can be removed with a small TORX N°6 screw on the side. The handle of this punch is identical to that of the “Deluxe Awl” product, so you can mount a 2 mm blade on this handle to transform it into an awl.
