I am Isaac Romero, leather worker with more than 25 years of experience.

I started out as a self-taught hobbyist, later I was trained at the Córdoba’s Arts & Crafts School.
As soon as i finished the studies I became a full time leather worker (around 2003).

After 10 years I studied again and attended “Leather Design Master’s Degree” by Loewe Foundation, Madrid Polytechnic University and Leather Technology Center, Ubrique, Cádiz, Spain.

For years I have combined my work as a leather craftsman with training and dissemination of the trade by teaching courses in leather shows like the
“Asturian Leather Days” (Ciaño, Asturias, Spain).”Jornadas de los oficios del cuero” (Allariz, Ourense, Spain), “Leder Detmer” (Hamburg, Germany),  “ELWATS” -European Leather Workers and Artist Trade Show (Arnhem, The Netherlands), “Rocky Mountain Leather Trade Show” (Sheridan, Wyoming, USA) or “Southwest Leather Trade Show” (Prescott, Arizona, USA).

If you are curious and want to have a look to my work, visit my Facebook page by clicking “here” or my Instagram page @coiraxe.

Leather Artisan Lab was born from the need to acquire tools and supplies that were difficult to obtain.

Every item Leather Artisan Lab offers has been personally tested, being tools and supplies that I use in my daily routines at the workshop.

Hope to create with you a place for leather crafts where through shared knowledge, we will find excellence in  leather crafting.
