There are certainly a lot of options out there to choose a round knife from, but this one is really special. Handmade in Spain in small batches you can definitely see and feel the craftsmanship that went into these knives. I ordered on with a Pau Ferro handle and it is a beautiful piece of art. The pattern and the temper of the blade clearly show that it is far from machine made. It came razor sharp out of the box and was packaged securely. It does cost more than other round (or halfmoon) knives from other producers, but I think its the first one I found where you can be sure that an artisan smith did the best work he could. They are always sold out super fast (I had to wait myself a little bit), but if you get a notification you can be fast enough to buy one! 5/5 I would recommend this knife if you want to treat yourself and honor your craft or if you are looking for a special gift for someone you know.
